Privacy & receipt data
How Jervis Pay handles account details, receipt evidence, encrypted files, review records and deletion requests.
Operational information. Final legal wording is pending business and legal review before commercial launch.
Information used by the service
The service stores account and workspace details, payment instructions and payment records. Receipt evidence can include an uploaded image or PDF, transfer details and OCR results. Review and security records can include IP addresses and request metadata. Optional customer email updates use the address supplied for that payment.
Receipt files and analysis
Uploads are checked before attachment. Accepted originals and image previews are encrypted in storage and served through authorised access. Image OCR, when enabled, supplies fallible review hints. PDF attachments are for manual review and do not currently receive text extraction or page OCR. Evidence never proves bank settlement.
Retention and deletion
A standard receipt retention period has not been approved. Automatic retention deletion remains disabled unless an operator configures a period. When retention deletion runs, receipt files and their wrapped encryption key are removed; payment and audit records remain. Contact support to request deletion or clarification. Requests require account verification and assessment; this page does not promise immediate removal from every backup.
Customer email updates
You can stop payment emails from the checkout. This removes the customer-supplied updates address and records the opt-out. It does not erase a contact address that the merchant supplied or the payment record itself.
Questions or data requests
Contact support@jervis.cloud. Do not include API secrets, sign-in links or unnecessary financial details in your message.
