Terms & service responsibilities
Jervis Pay coordinates direct-transfer evidence and merchant review. Merchant confirmation remains the decision that approves a payment.
Operational information. Final legal wording is pending business and legal review before commercial launch.
Role of Jervis Pay
Customers transfer money directly to a merchant account. Jervis Pay provides checkout instructions, receipt evidence, review, notifications and integration events. It does not hold the transferred funds or independently verify bank settlement. OCR and screenshots cannot approve a payment.
Merchant confirmation
The merchant must check their own account and confirm only after receiving the funds. Duplicate file or transaction-reference indicators require an explicit, audited override when confirming. The override is a reviewer decision, not verification by Jervis Pay.
Refunds and disputes
The merchant is responsible for transfer and refund arrangements. The dispute workflow records information and review decisions; it does not reverse a bank transfer or guarantee a refund. Escalated review is subject to the configured access and eligibility rules.
Account and integration safety
Protect your sign-in links and API keys, grant staff only the permissions they need, and validate webhook signatures. Test-mode simulator results are synthetic and must not be treated as real money or proof of live provider availability.
Commercial terms
Pricing and final contractual terms need separate approval. Contact support@jervis.cloud for availability and questions before commercial use.
